Payment Options
We offer a range of secure and convenient payment methods to suit your preferences and ensure every transaction is safe and straightforward:
Available methods: Bank transfer, credit card, and cash (in-person only).
Verification: Transactions over $5,000 AUD, or cash payments of $10,000 AUD or more require additional checks for compliance.
Security: All payments are processed through secure, compliant systems.
Transparency: Payment instructions are clearly provided at checkout for smooth processing.
Currency: Transactions are processed in Australian Dollars (AUD).
What payment methods can I use to purchase precious metals?
You can purchase precious metals using bank transfer, credit card, or cash (in-person).
Bank transfers are secure and efficient for most purchases, credit cards offer convenience for smaller transactions, and cash is accepted for in-person purchases only.
Are there payment limits for cash transactions?
Yes. Cash payments of $10,000 AUD or more are subject to AUSTRAC reporting requirements to comply with anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism financing laws.
Are there any fees associated with payment methods?
Credit card payments are charged at a rate 2.5% higher than other payment methods. Bank transfers and cash payments are typically fee-free, and all pricing is clearly displayed at checkout.
Can I pay in foreign currency, or only AUD?
All transactions are processed in Australian dollars (AUD). Foreign currency must be converted to AUD through your bank or payment provider.
Do I need to provide identification to make a purchase?
Yes. While transactions of $5,000 AUD or more require valid identification under Australian AML regulations, we may also request ID for any purchase to perform additional due diligence.
This helps ensure compliance and protects against fraud.
Are there limits on the amount I can purchase at one time?
There are no strict limits, but larger transactions may require additional verification. Cash transactions over $10,000 AUD must comply with AUSTRAC reporting requirements.
How do I know my payment has been received and confirmed?
Once your payment is processed, you’ll receive a confirmation email with transaction details. Bank transfers may take 1–3 business days to clear, while credit card payments are usually confirmed instantly.
What happens if there’s a problem with my payment?
If your payment fails or is delayed, our team will contact you immediately and assist in resolving the issue to avoid order delays.
Do I get a receipt or confirmation for each transaction?
Yes. Every completed transaction, including purchases and sales, comes with a detailed receipt for your records.
Payment Terms
Our payment terms are designed to be simple and clear, helping you complete transactions efficiently and without confusion:
Payment deadlines: Full payment is required before delivery, collection, or vaulting.
Confirmation: Orders are only processed once payment is verified.
What are the standard payment terms for purchasing precious metals?
All purchases must be paid in full within 2 business days.
Pre-orders also require full payment within the specified time frame, unless a pre-arranged deposit agreement has been made to secure the order. Payment terms are clearly outlined at the time of purchase.
What happens if full payment isn’t made on time?
Orders are only processed once full payment is received. If payment is delayed or not received by the due date, the order may be placed on hold or cancelled.
Clients who default on payment may be restricted from placing future orders to protect pricing and supply integrity.
What happens if I exceed daily banking limits when paying?
If your bank imposes daily transfer limits, you may be allowed to complete your payment over multiple days. Please contact us in advance so we can coordinate and ensure your order is processed smoothly.
High-Value Purchases
For larger transactions, we have additional procedures in place to protect both your investment and ensure full regulatory compliance:
Security: High-value orders are handled with enhanced security procedures.
Insurance: All high-value shipments are fully insured during transit or handling.
Regulatory compliance: All transactions follow Australian AML and KYC standards to protect you and the business.
What verification is required for large or high-value purchases?
For high-value transactions, we may carry out additional verification, including confirming the source of funds and wealth, as well as enhanced due diligence and identification checks.
This ensures compliance with Australian AML regulations and safeguards both your investment and the transaction process.
Are there different terms for very large purchases over $100,000 AUD?
Yes. High-value orders may require a non-refundable deposit of 10% of the total order value to confirm pricing and secure the transaction. Full payment is required within the standard payment terms unless a pre-arranged schedule has been agreed.
Can I pay in instalments for large purchases?
Generally, instalments are not offered, except in pre-arranged cases. In some situations, a short grace period may be provided if full payment cannot be made in a single transaction due to daily banking limits.
Can I cancel a payment or request a refund after it has been processed?
Once payment is processed, it cannot be cancelled due to the immediate and final nature of precious metals transactions. Refunds are only issued for incorrect or damaged items under our Returns and Refunds policy.
Selling & Liquidating
Our process for selling or liquidating precious metals is designed to be transparent, secure, and easy to follow from start to finish:
Assessment: Metals are checked for authenticity, weight, and purity before providing a quote.
Quotation: Fair, market-based quotes are given, reflecting current spot prices.
Acceptance: Once the quote is approved, payment or other agreed arrangements proceed.
How do I receive payment when selling my precious metals?
Bank transfers are the fastest and most secure method for receiving payment. Smaller transactions may allow in-person cash payments, subject to reporting laws.
How soon do I receive funds when selling metals back to the dealer?
Payments are typically transferred directly to your nominated bank account within 24 hours of acceptance and verification of the metals.
